From a humble chicken rice stall in the 1950s to a modern kitchen today, food carries more than just flavour... It carries the taste of a legacy. ✨

Our grandfather, Lim Tee Kheng, founder of Jee Hai Hainanese Chicken Rice at 8 Purvis Street (1955–1972), was among the Hainanese first-generation pioneers who helped shape Singapore’s chicken rice culture. 🇸🇬👨‍🍳
